Sudbury-based clinic offering online speech and language therapy for children and youths (up to 18 years old) from anywhere in Ontario and at home services for those in Greater Sudburywho need support in any of the following areas:
Language development (either understanding others or getting their message out)
Articulation and phonology (speech sounds)
Stuttering / fluency disorder
Literacy development
preliteracy skills - letter/alphabet knowledge, vocabulary, print awareness and motivation, narrative skills, phonological (letter-sound) awareness
reading - decoding words, reading comprehension
writing - getting thoughts onto paper, organizing ideas/narratives
Social communication
Services offered:
Consultation
Consultation about a child/youth’s communication needs at school, home/school programming review with school team, or other communications between the speech-language pathologist and any other professional or school team member.
Direct therapy
Direct visits between the speech-language pathologist and a child/youth with communication difficulties. The speech-language pathologist teaches a child/youth new speech or language skills and coaches their caregivers on how to support their learning. Written progress reports
This includes an electronic and/or physical copy of a speech and language progress report written by the speech-language pathologist detailing the goals the child/youth has been working on, their progress and their current level of ability.
Our Sudbury-based clinic offer online speech language therapy to anyone living in Ontario in English or French.
